RWR: Publishing Plans & Other Updates |

Welcome back! I hope you're all well. Sheesh, keeping up with so many blogs is difficult. This is why I've decided to only update the RWR blog every 3 months. Granted, I didn't update in the last 6 months, but I have good reasons. I won't get into those, however. Let's just get to the reason you clicked on this post.

Yes, I am finally publishing. In the next couple of weeks, as a matter of fact. I am publishing the paperback edition of my short story, PRINCE IN DISGUISE, which takes place in the ancient world of Drischire. Drischire is actually the sister land of the Anerathian continent.

Why the paperback? Why not the eBook, too?

The truth is I am not ready to take my book down from Wattpad yet. And the paperback is already done because I printed a personal copy last year. I have made the changes I hoped to make. The cover has been updated with public domain fonts. My interior has been simplified because I don't need a list of all 50 of my WIP/books yet.

I am also preparing one of my romance novels for paperback publication. I am making significant changes to the title and some final, top-coat polish. But I won't be putting that one up on Amazon until the summer. I want to myself enough time to start marketing as well as relish in the fact that the world will be allowed to purchase my book(s) now.

In other news, I kept The WriMo Blog updated these last couple of months, seeing as I had entered a writing contest. I documented the journey over there. If you're not following that blog, you should be. I will actually be updating The WriMo Blog in the coming weeks regarding the contest Round 2 results, so be on the lookout for that.

Long story short, I wrote 20,000 words in under 2 months and the contest's writing timeline was 12 weeks. I made it to Round 2 and now I am waiting for the results.

I think this is all I wanted to say. For now, at least. Thank you for dropping by!
