RWR: April Updates | Writing Through Life

Welcome back, Rockers! Well, today's post is exactly what the title says. I have some April updates and some intel on all the writing I've done, to keep my head as life goes on. If you remember in one of my previous posts, specifically the one where I quote Steve Trevor.
Be forewarned, I don't have much to update you on. This could be a very short post.

Writing Update(s):
I tried to utilize CampNaNoWriMo to restore my daily writing routine. It did not go according to plan. I know it has to do with motivation. In the past, I have said that I do not "force" my writing when I am not feeling it. Because I don't write for anyone but myself. While this continues to remain true for me, I do feel the need to write. Something. Anything.

I only wrote around 5,000 words, total. Across six different projects of which 2 were only short experimental writings. 2 more connected to my Xiphis Saga plans. 1 is a retelling, and the other was actually part of some edits I needed to do.

Life Updates:
My family is still in the process of trying to move. We have not had any success in regards to a new house. Additionally, our current landlord has shown this house to six prospects. None of them have bitten the bait.

I accepted a new virtual assistant position (by the time you read this post, I will have started at the beginning of May). I am looking forward to working with more people

This is literally all I have for updates. April is already one of the shorter months in the year, but I usually have way more to say/add. I think a lot of why I don't have much to share is because I am trying to maintain a healthy mind. Mental health is very important and I believe in setting aside time to just chill and relax, and take care of myself.

Thank you for joining me, I hope you have a better month of April than I did. Smile, you're awesome. See you in the funny papers!
